NEW YORK

New York City - Technical Design Director (8/8)

RMJM Hillier has openings in their New York and Princeton offices for  Technical Design Directors to work cooperatively with our award winning designers in the delivery of world-class projects.  They shall promote integrated design, tectonics, technical innovation, sustainability and excellence to the office and the project teams through training, mentorship, and guidance.  TDDs are responsible for the technical quality of the work of their respective offices and shall assist the Technical Design Principal in the technical leadership of the entire firm.  The TDDs shall support the Studio Directors to excel in each area of market specialization.  Qualifications required include::

  • Approximately 20 years experience in large firms, with the last half being involved in a leadership capacity and responsible for quality on multiple projects
  • Professionally Licensed and preferably NCARB certified.
  • LEED accredited or otherwise knowledgeable in sustainable design.
  • Participation in lead roles on very large projects with multiple components and teams of 20 or more people.
  • Participation in lead roles on award winning projects
  • Demonstrated excellence in some area of building technology with a broad understanding of all areas.
  • Able to travel weekly between US offices and available for international travel.


New York City – Laboratory Planner (7/3)

PRINCETON

Princeton - Accounts Receivable Representative (8/8)

RMJM Hillier is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented individual to support and coordinate all activities related to accounts receivable and cash management activities including:client contact to follow-up on payments; obtain agreement to pay; write letters to encourage payment; assist in preparing timely month-end closing information; monitor cash postings and receivable reconciliations; review, prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports; prepare weekly and monthly reports, including credit hold reports, bad debt reports, accounts receivable summary and cash application reports.

Bachelor’s degree plus five or more years related experience.   Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.  Prior experience working in an architectural or engineering firm preferred.

Princeton - Contract Administrator (7/10)

RMJM Hillier is looking for an experienced Contract Administrator..  The Contract Administrator will review professional services contracts and other project-related documentation in order to assess risk and advise project leadership on risks and ways to mitigate risks with sound contract language and provisions.  Duties and responsibilities will include: drafting of professional service contracts; review of client drafted contracts; review and process sub-contract agreements; support proposal activity; provide support for negotiation of contracts; educate project managers and project architects in the basics of risk assessment and risk mitigation.

The successful candidate will possess highly developed communication, problem solving, negotiation and teaming skills; 5+ years contract-related experience or previous paralegal experience; BA in Business, Finance, Legal Studies or related field.

Princeton – Landscape Architect (7/3)

RMJM Hillier’s Land Planning group offers an experienced Landscape Architect an opportunity to work on a variety of award winning projects -  We offer you the opportunity to work on award health care institutions, science and technology centers, libraries, higher education buildings, mixed use commercial buildings, and hotels.   Responsibilities will include project management and design with a strong emphasis on interfacing with other design professionals.  The appropriate candidate will have a degree in Landscape Architecture plus 5 to 7 years of experience analyzing building codes, zoning regulations and moving the project through the approval process.  You must be a highly motivated self-started with excellent graphic and verbal communication skills, proficiency in CADD and proven competency in all phases of contract documentation and construction administration

You will work side by side with design and management Principals.  You will be responsible for leading project teams to deliver highly technical, sustainable buildings.  Additionally you will provide oversight, mentorship and guidance to the staff and contribute to the continuing development of technical resources in all RMJM Hillier offices. You must be a licensed architect with technical expertise, the ability to develop sophisticated designs, have superlative client skills and the ability to manage and develop staff.

Philadelphia - Mid-Level Graphic Designer (7/3)

If you are a creative graphic designer with 3-5 years of experience we offer you a challenging opportunity to collaborate with our marketing and public relations staff creating and producing materials which will support our marketing and public relations campaigns.  You should have an architectonic sensibility with excellent design layout and typography skills.  You will be asked to collaborate with architects, writers, photographers, and marketing staff and manage your projects in a timely and cost effective way.  You must have excellent Photoshop, Power Point, In Design skills.  Basic skills in HTML and web design preferred.

Philadelpihia - Historic Preservation Project Manager (7/3)
